We offer vegetable and herb baskets to lovers of fresh local produce. Our young business has implemented community-supported agriculture (CSA) principles.
According to that philosophy, consumers partner with a farm at the beginning of a growing season, sharing in the responsibilities and benefits of the agricultural production it yields. This is particularly true for organic farms such as ours1.
How does it work?
- Clients register and pay ahead of time for the entire season.
- They then receive baskets throughout the season which vary according to the produce available at that time.
We are the UPA’s northernmost member.
We are located above the 52nd parallel and proud of it. Our offer is limited. Many people are already registered for our weekly baskets but, every now and then, there is leftover produce that we can sell you.
Basket deliveries start around mid-June and are offered until the end of September, provided that Mother Nature cooperates.
Contact us for more information or to register for a basket.
